Granite State Outdoor Systems may be a new name, but the experience behind it isn't.
Owner Tyler Green began working in the irrigation industry for a family business alongside his father, learning the trade from the ground up. What started with pulling pipe and installing sprinkler heads grew into hands-on experience with system layout and design, installation, troubleshooting, wiring, controllers, valves, backflow and plumbing components, repairs, maintenance and estimating.
Over the years, that experience expanded beyond irrigation into landscape and property maintenance, equipment operation, outdoor improvements and snow operations. That broader background ultimately helped shape the idea behind Granite State Outdoor Systems: a company focused specifically on the outdoor systems that protect, enhance and improve a property.
Outside of the industry, Tyler has spent approximately a decade in the fire service, including several years in a leadership role. That experience has helped shape the standards behind GSOS—accountability, communication, attention to detail, integrity and taking ownership of the work performed.
GSOS was built around a simple philosophy: quality over quantity. Take the time to understand the property, recommend the right solution, communicate clearly, perform clean and professional work, and leave the property better than it was found.
